Born in California and raised in Houston, TX, Shahzeb always knew he wanted to pursue a career as an attorney. In law school, Shahzeb excelled academically, graduating in the top 10% of his class and being inducted into the Order of Coif. Along with his academic achievements, Shahzeb showed talent in advocacy competitions, being selected as a member of the Board of Barristers, and proved himself a leader as well, being elected as the 3L Class President. Shahzeb also gained real world experience while in law school by working for the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic where he helped indigent clients with IRS disputes and by clerking for Justice James T. Campbell of the Seventh Court of Appeals of Texas. Upon graduating and being licensed by the State Bar of Texas, Shahzeb worked for Winstead, P.C., where his practice focused on Tax and Fiduciary Litigation.
